Biography
Current Project

Zoë Siegel has always transformed her passion for form and material into works of art, be it wire sculptures or unique homes. Zoë is an architectural designer who has been working in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico for 17 years. Her design styles range from contemporary to traditional Mexican. Every house Zoë designs has an emphasis on light and spaciousness. Elegant, functional and comfortable, her unique homes can be found in many of San Miguel's neigborhoods. To date, Zoë has built 17 exceptional houses. Generous ceiling height, stone columns and arches, rounded walls and clean lines are consistent elements in her designs.

As a sculptor, Zoë uses materials such as wire, paper and plaster to create delicate, yet powerful pieces. She has exhibited her sculpture and drawings throughout the United States and Mexico.

Zoë was born in NYC and raised in Woodstock, NY. She received her BA degree from Oberlin College, earned her Master of Arts degree from The School of Visual Arts in NYC, and eventually landed in San Miguel de Allende.

PROYECTO FUENTES is Zoë's exciting new build-to-suit project in Colonia Atascadero, San Miguel de Allende.

Four beautiful, light-filled, custom homes will be constructed in the heart of Colonia Atascadero, a residential neighborhood known for its community, wide streets and charm. With 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, these homes offer open floor plans, gardens, parking, and many special touches, such as boveda ceilings, cantera columns and arches, and artisan-carved fireplaces. Each house will be unique with its own distinct character, yet blend into the block and complement the neighborhood.

The PROYECTO FUENTES houses are currently being offered as a PRE–sale, through Agave Sotheby's. Buyers will have the opportunity to choose finishes and be part of the creative process. Zoë creates a collaborative environment that makes building a house an enjoyable and fulfilling process. In addition, her years of experience in Mexico, her deep knowledge of available materials, and her long- standing relationships with local artisans facilitate the creation of these unique customized homes.
